Role

Myant X is seeking an experienced Process Engineer who is adept at solving process engineering challenges. You will join a world class team of scientists and engineers and have access to state-of-the-art infrastructure at Myant Research Centre of Canada. Your challenge is to work with our internal teams and external clients to help them drive their materials projects towards commercialization.

Responsibilities

Work with clients to develop project proposals that describe technical approaches to de-risk and accelerate their materials scale-up for manufacturing

Lead multidisciplinary projects and ensure proper execution and documentation of activities throughout the project cycle

Maintain close contact with assigned customers to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction

Translate new / existing scientific knowledge into enabling technologies / platforms; perform analytical, experimental, and modeling work to solve business problems in a timely manner.

Keep abreast of trends and developments in area of expertise and be a subject matter expert in external trends/developments.Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of industrial experience in a flexible and versatile setting with proven leadership in project management

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Ability to design, demonstrate, and optimize chemical processes starting from concept stage

Knowledge of process costing and economic analysis

Proficient in chemical reaction engineering

Strategic thinking capability

Excellent project management and leadership skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Able to understand complex technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Analytical and systematic when approaching engineering challenges

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies

Demonstrates the ability to regularly represent scientific findings and results to the scientific community
