The Production Operations Manager based in QLD is the central leader in the Business Management, Sales, Production and Installation of our clients Custom Designed Awning and Retractable Roof Systems. This is a broad role requiring an understanding of business operating fundamentals as well as Specific Awning Industry Design and Product Knowledge. This end to end role requires creating the networks and marketing to attract and develop business as well as the skills to execute the production planning, projects and strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives

· Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data

· Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets productions goals

· Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans

· Monitoring production output and costs, and adjusting processes and resources to minimise costs

· Controlling the preparation of production records and reports

· Managing stock levels and waist control.

· Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals and KPIs

· Complete market research and analyse results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success

· Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements

· Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts with the Commercial and Residential Construction Sectors.

· Engage and Manage Contractors for Accounting Services, Awning installations, Drafting Services, Website and Social Media Marketing.

· Increase output of plant, managing cost of operations, increase revenue and profits.

Skills

· Professional Business Education or Equivalent Business Experience

· Minimum 10 years direct experience managing operations of Awning Installation Business

· Experience and Training in Design, Architecture or Engineering

· Understanding of industry manufacturers and component suppliers

· Basic Understanding of Electrical Works and Building Controls

· Experience in managing the implementation of Marketing plans
