Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will ensure safe, productive, and effective operations by: * Identifying and quantifying construction elements * Entering quantities into pricing software * Providing initial data for Commence software * Supplying Contracts Department with specifications for insurance requirements * Sending new contracts for review * Cultivating vendor relationships and assessing capabilities * Analyzing and scoping vendors for best value * Completing estimates, including bid form requirements and special equipment needs * Researching construction history for value engineering * Packaging and sending proposals on time * Following up with clients for bid receipt and deal closure * Developing client relationships for future opportunities * Collecting data on lost jobs for market monitoring * Providing information to Marketing post-bid * Tracking projects until awarded * Setting up transition meetings for Project Managers * Providing overview of proposals to project teams * Assisting with changes and submittal approvals Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 7+ years' experience, or equivalent * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Estimating software * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to interpret technical documents and regulations * Effective client and team interaction * Understanding of safety and OSHA requirements in estimates
