Cook- Full Time w/Benefits

FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES: * Cook and prepare food according to approved menus.

* Direct activities of workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

* Take inventory of supplies and equipment.

* Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: * One-year experience as a cook.

* Knowledge of standard practice, procedures and equipment required in the food industry.

* Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population.

* Positive attitude and excellent customer service * CPR and CPI Certifications (offered at the facility) PREFERRED: * High school or GED equivalent * Cooking experience in a healthcare or restaurant setting * Knowledge of state health codes.
