Overview Prepares and serves meals for patients, employees, visitors.
Responsible for meals in Catering Center as needed; overseeing kitchen operations.
Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge of quantity food preparation; uses approved recipes and data regarding census to avoid overproduction.
Follows standardized recipes for each food item prepared.
Uses approved culinary techniques to prepare patient/café foods.
Qualifications High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in a similar position preferred.
One (1) year general culinary experience preferred.
Current Food Handlers Card.
Experience in set-up and serving of special event catering is highly desirable.
