Production Fabricator (RMF)

This individual will reference technical drawings, pre-manufactured, and purchased parts needed for assembly and alteration of various raw and finished materials. Will also work on lay-up, roll, forming and assembling of fiberglass as needed. The primary responsibilities include reading and understanding assembly instructions, ensuring the parts meet Engineering and Customer specifications and maintaining quality control standards.

Plant Manager 1. Review blueprints, drawings, specifications prior to starting fabrication to ensure accuracy. 2. Responsible for assembling, modeling, and finishing raw and finished materials by hand. 3. Comfortable and able to use rotary and automatic tools: routers, drills, saws, grinders, press, etc. 4. Familiarity with / quick learner regarding, fabrication of: molds, dies, assembly fixtures. 5. Mechanically inclined to work around and within Customer defined expectations. 6. Able to work independently with minimal guidance on operational and technical challenges. 7. Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time, paying close attention to detail. 8. Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time. 9. Excellent with electronic and verbal communication; including Microsoft Office. 10. Comfortable working with overhead crane, forklift, press, and chemicals; wearing corresponding PPE. 11. Welding certification is applicable for on-going welding projects. 12. Work is project based and can involve working to tight deadlines, and providing updates or changes to plans last minute; required to work on multiple projects at once. 13. High school diploma or GED, specialized certification preferred; proficiency in operating heavy machinery or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

14. This position is an manufacturing environment located in Mansfield, Ohio. 15. This is a full-time, fully on-site position that requires successful completion of the following: Pre-Employment drug screening and Pre-Employment background screening. 16. There may be off-site equipment training, as needed. 17. Floor-based position requiring standing hours at a machine for extended periods of time. 18. Open manufacturing floor setting, with maintained temperatures to a limited capacity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. 19. Requires physical stamina and proper use of overhead crane, forklift, rotary hand tools, and assembly.
