Position Overview/Project Details: Patient Access /Navigation (temp position onsite at Duarte campus)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

5+ year in patient care (inpatient or outpatient).

Previous patient-facing experience required. Experiencing working with cancer patients.

Experienced as interpreter, fluent in English/Spanish language.

Exceptional communication skills required.

Bilingual in English/Spanish required, as well as ability to read and write both English and Spanish. Understanding of medical terminology required.

Experience with medical billing, insurance, finances preferred. Or applicant is a pre-nursing working clinical staffs, or has worked at Emergency Room. BLS, AED CPR certified.

Great computer skills and typing, great patient care and communication skills, familiar with EPIC.

Minimum Education:

Associated in Science (AS) degree or college graduate or enrolled in University

Schedule: 4 days/week (depending on patient's load of the week) or 5 days/week (Monday through Friday) at 8:30am 5pm PST (30 minutes lunch)

Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays and holidays.
