3D Motion Graphic Designer

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $84,000 to $105,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

Responsibilities

Create captivating and industry-leading Motion Graphics for the Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center, and it’s parent companies and brands

Be a key creative force behind our new On Ice Projection content including Show Opens, Game Elements, and Marketing pieces

Conceptualize, design and transform briefs and concepts into highly effective motion graphic animations

Collaborating with the creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and content creators is vital to this role

Be an active participant in creative planning and brainstorming sessions, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared success

Resourceful team player with ability to take ownership, work with minimum supervision at times and follow through on task completion

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends with design

Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in motion design, video production, animation, or related major

5+ years of progressive experience with motion graphics in a professional work environment; experience in sports and entertainment is a plus

Experience in 3D design/modeling and animation from concept through production This position will support a new on-ice projection system

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Experience with one 3D motion Design tool such as Cinema 4D or similar

Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment

Applicants must submit a demo reel demonstrating experience

Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Strong time management and organizational skills

Detail-oriented and quality-focused

A passion for live events and sports entertainment

Able to work beyond normal business hours, including but not limited to nights, weekends and select holidays is required
