Attorney - Food and Drug Packaging Practice Group Associate

Keller and Heckman LLP, an international leader in regulatory law practice, is seeking a talented associate attorney with up to 4 years of experience to join its globally-recognized food and drug packaging practice in its Washington, D.C. Office. The associate will work with a collegial team of legal and scientific professionals to advise companies on regulatory issues pertaining to food, food additives, food packaging, and other such products. The work includes pre- and post-market assessments of food contact substances, and preparing submissions to FDA and USDA and their international counterparts.

Candidates must have excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities; strong project management and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and the interest to learn and make a difference in a dynamic area of law. Due to the technical nature of the practice, academic or other experience in a scientific field (chemistry, biology, mathematics, engineering) will be helpful, but is not required. Successful associates will be given significant client responsibility early on, and will have direct client contact. The position requires collaboration across the firm’s U.S., EU, and China offices on challenging and interesting projects that involve cutting-edge regulatory and health and safety issues. The associate will join a high-performing group and will develop world-class expertise.
