We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a proven track record and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system engineering. This role requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong soft skills, including communication, adaptability, and the ability to mentor.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in system infrastructure management, including network, cloud, virtual environments, backups, and VoIP systems.

Demonstrated ability to deliver client-centric IT solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Experience collaborating with sales teams to architect and present IT solutions tailored to client needs.

Advanced troubleshooting skills across a range of technologies and systems.

Experience in implementing and managing security measures to protect data, networks, and systems.

Experience with automating tasks, workflows, and processes using scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash) and various RPA platforms (e.g. PowerAutomate, Rewst, Chef).

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Certification Requirements:

At least one of the following required certifications:

Fortinet NSE 4 Certification

VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and upgrade system infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of system performance and reliability.

Lead technical projects and provide technical sales support, offering advanced support for helpdesk operations.

Design, implement, and manage IT solutions aligned with client needs and business objectives.

Write SOPs and customer documentation to support the help desk and project implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Deep knowledge of networking principles and advanced experience with Fortinet products.

Proficiency in VMware technologies and vCloud Director.

Solid experience in Windows Server OS management, including Active Directory and Group Policy.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.

Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Azure Administrator Associate.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting peers.

Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering the ultimate user experience.

Strong emphasis on creating and maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and service records.

Adept at guiding junior staff through complex technical challenges and professional growth, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative learning.

Proactive Initiative: Demonstrated ability to take initiative to achieve desired outcomes and goals, showing a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
