Litigation Associate Attorney

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting the Washington, DC office of a midsized, AmLaw alternative firm in its search for a litigation associate to join its Complex Litigation practice group. This is a great opportunity for an associate seeking to transition from Big Law to a sophisticated midsized firm with better work-life balance, competitive compensation, and great culture in the Washington, DC area!

Law school graduates in the classes of 2021 or 2022 with prior law firm, government, or clerkship experience are encouraged to apply. Exposure to bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, commercial, and/or complex civil litigation matters is helpful, but not required. Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work as a team player, and sound judgment needed.

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate degree.

Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Excellent academic credentials.

Qualifications:

1+ years of relevant practice experience in a law firm, government, or clerkship setting.

Perks:

Compensation - $200K+ salary (based on experience), before bonuses and benefits.

Billables - 1700 hours annually.

Bonuses - based on performance and are not capped.

Benefits - generous package including 401(k), parental leave, and flexible work schedules.
