As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our client's continued success by overseeing the estimating department, ensuring accurate pricing for new construction projects, renovations, change orders, and various cost-associated endeavors. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and President, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to assess new opportunities, schedule bids, and meet critical deadlines.

Location: Office-based, Crown Point, IN

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the EVP and President in evaluating new projects and prioritizing bids to meet organizational objectives.

Utilize your intimate knowledge and past experiences to conduct thorough material take-offs, time studies, and value engineering assessments.

Work closely with designers, architects, general contractors, and clients during the design stage to determine project scope and finalize pricing.

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering ideas to enhance project efficiency and profitability.

Present final pricing decisions to the EVP and President for approval, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

Requirements:

Proven experience in architectural millwork estimating, with a deep understanding of material pricing, fabrication methods, and installation costs.

Proficiency in value engineering principles and techniques to optimize project outcomes.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to conduct accurate take-offs and time studies.

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Software proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel is desired.
