Maintenance Mechanic Plant Ops Per Diem Days

Summary Provides quality maintenance support of the facilities, utilities, and equipment components in support of the hospital-wide Safety and Utility Management Program.

This position requires knowledge of general engineering maintenance in a hospital environment.

Must be able to read, interpret and follow policies and procedures pertaining to plant operations in a professional manner.

Must be able to perform verbal and written interaction with fellow employees and other departments.

Qualifications (including required licensure/ certifications, education and job knowledge/ experience) Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Technical school training certificate Experience: 5 Years trade experience, 2 years' hospital setting preferred Other Qualifications: Knowledge of working with hand and power tools.

Must maintain a valid Florida driver's license and be subject to policy "Facility Owned Vehicles, Employee Owned Vehicles Guidelines" #LI-RS1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
