High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent.

Food Service experience in a school or retail food service environment preferred

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Good client/customer service skills and exemplary work ethic

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Ability to correctly complete math problems involving simple fractions and decimals

Ability to follow standardized recipes using correct weights and measures

Must be able to multi task and have ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Must be self-motivated having good judgment, honesty, flexibility, organizational skills and emotional maturity

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job

Ability to work effectively with a team and/or work independently as needed

Basic knowledge of food service and food sanitation

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

Must be physically able to work in extreme heat and cold and stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, push, pull and reach. Ability to work with a variety of cleaning agents

Ability to see and hear within normal ranges with correction
