Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and analytical Middle Office Analyst to join our hedge fund team. The ideal candidate will bridge the front and back office, ensuring the accuracy of trade capture, supporting risk management activities, and facilitating regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include analyzing and validating trade data, monitoring and reporting on trading activities, managing risk exposures, and collaborating with portfolio managers to optimize trading strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

Validate and analyze trade data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Monitor and report on trading activities and positions.

Manage and assess risk exposures, providing insights to mitigate potential risks.

Support compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Collaborate with portfolio managers to assess and optimize trading strategies.

Facilitate effective communication between the front office (trading) and back office (settlements) teams.

Participate in the development and implementation of operational improvements.

Handle inquiries and provide detailed reports on trade activities and risk metrics.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

2+ years of experience in middle office operations, preferably in a hedge fund or trading firm.

Strong understanding of financial instruments and markets.

Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with an ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
