Looking for an experienced full-time Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our team at Physician Assistant Specialists- California, Inc (PASCAL)!

PASCAL is a unique corporation of highly skilled physician assistants specializing in cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery. Established in 2013, PASCAL provides surgical services throughout Southern California hospitals and continues to grow rapidly. We provide first and second surgical assist services in more than 30 facilities.

Our PAs have the luxury of assisting surgeons in the operating room without the requirement of rounding, clinic, or patient calls. We cover a very reasonable call schedule, offer flexible vacation availability schedules, and have many retirement options.

Minimum 4 years of cardiothoracic experience including vessel harvest.

Pediatric, robotic and radial harvest experience preferred.

Salary range will be $160,000- $250,000 depending on level of experience.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program

NCCPA Certification

Current California Physician Assistant License

Current CPR (BLS), ACLS and PALS certificate

DEA License

Job Requirements:

Strong experience with first and second assist with all types of cardiothoracic surgical procedures

EVH experience and current proficiency

On call requirements for emergency surgery only, approximately 1 week of coverage every 3-5 weeks

Daily commuting required between facilities with some extended drive times

Business management activities are required (we can teach this to you)

Being a strong team member who is flexible and self-motivated
