Position Title: Logistics Operator- Vaccines

Major Activities of the Job:

GeneralLogisticsandDistributionactivities:

Maintaining Health and safety practices

Maintenance of housekeeping of work areas

Physical movement of material and electronic movement of material, SAP and RF transactions.

Recorder charts and temperature monitoring of temperature-controlled areas.

Accurate completion and proper filing of departmental paperwork.

Security of Shipping and Warehouse areas.

Temperature monitor reading and data storage.

Off-site storage and returns of material (examples include goods issue, return to inventory)

Function reports (examples include missed or late orders/reservations, problematic receipts, exceptions).

Ensuring proper loading and unloading oftransport vehicles'

General Warehouse activities:

Receiving of material (MRP & non-MRP).

Processing returned products.

Processing returns of material back into warehouse.

Appropriate storage of materials.

Control of labels in the warehouse.

Processing reservations, process orders and back orders.

Staging of material for delivery.

Delivery of materials from the Warehouse across the Sanofi-Pasteur site.

Initiating the material disposition process.

Handling the disposal of material.

Sample and inventory request fulfillment.

General Shipping activities:

Receiving Finished Goods into shipping department.

Stocking refrigerators.

Delivery creation picking and processing.

Modifying, holding or cancelling orders.

Reviewing special customer requirements (examples include delivery before 1:00pm, closed on Friday, customer pick-up).

Communicating with Carriers (examples include faxing manifests, scheduling sameday pick-ups, identifying problems, coordinating solutions).

Processing and or creating necessary transport documentation.

Responding to Customer Service inquiries and help coordinate solutions.

Picking/packing and processing shipments (Commercial, Non-Commercial & International.

Use of and programming (when necessary) of shipment monitoringdevices.

Use of Delivery Transit Log.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 plus two (2) years of previous relevant work experience.

Preferred one (1) year college., APIC Diploma (Inventory Management &

Warehousing) plus one (1) year of previous relevant work experience.

Class G License

Valid dangerous goods certification.

Valid WHIMIS certification.

SOP's (understanding procedure)

Knowledge of Material Movement (Goods receipt, goods issue, transfer posting. stock overview, correcting mistakes (example incorrect bin,

scanner movements).

Knowledge of Material handling (proper use of handling equipment, pick and receive materials)

Teamwork and communication skills

Time Management and Interpersonal Skills

Hours Of Work:

Inclusive from Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
