Responsibilities

Moving and sorting of incoming appliances/electronics/furniture units for repair

Organize and maintain the incoming area of furniture shop

Organize and maintain the outgoing area of the A&E shop

Wrapping/packaging and put away of repaired product

Complete minor touch-ups on furniture

Build ready to assemble products

Coordinate recycling of appliances and electronics

Perform cycle counts in A&E and furniture shop

General cleanup, sweeping of floors and garbage removal as required

Adhere to all Health & Safety, Material Handling, and equipment policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned periodically

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience working with small hand/power tools required

Previous working experience in a warehouse

Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications and computerized warehouse management systems preferred

Previous experience with Brick Retail, TGS and Western Catalyst (WMS) systems an asset

Experience using RF guns an asset

Experience using a motorized pallet jacks an asset
