Responsibilities:

Direct, coordinate, and oversee the administration of all associated nursing and support staff.

Plan, implement and evaluate all nursing services to include associated administrative operations and activities.

Review, establish and maintain patient care protocol and standards, ensuring that all federal and state, Armor, and facility policies, regulations, and guidelines for patient care are met.

Establish and coordinate quality improvement, safety, and infection control programs

Review pharmacy utilization to ensure adherence to the formulary.

Establish and implement short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures

Design, establish and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives, recruits, employs, trains, supervises, and evaluates professional and contract staff.

Qualifications:

Current unencumbered state license as an RN

Bachelors in Nursing preferred

Previous nursing supervisory experience, preferably in a correctional healthcare setting

Current CPR certificate

Proficient with electronic medical records

Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen
