Overview:
This is a remote role, but if needed you would be required to come onsite to one of our datacenters closest to your location either in Roseville MN, Nashville TN, Fort Wayne IN, or Littleton CO.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert with enterprise accountability for the design, implementation and management of Microsoft Active Directory and windows services running in Windows 2008 through 2016 R2 in a VM Ware and AWS virtual environment. This person must be a MS Windows server technology expert who can operate and continuously improve, standardize and automate tasks in datacenters throughout the US. They should have a solid background in MS Exchange, Terminal Services, Security, PowerShell scripting, Skype for Business and WSUS We’re looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can work with a variety of IT colleagues and vendors to ensure continued performance and availability.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and ongoing management of our enterprise windows server/Active Directory including windows system administration, patching and security fixes, ongoing checks on expected server operations, storage space, event logs, Etc.
Windows server (phone number removed) R2 and 2016 support (on premise, remote and cloud based systems)
Implementation and management of enterprise backup solutions
Ongoing management of enterprise Email environment
PowerShell scripting and task automation
GPO development and management
User and Group management
Participate in infrastructure management, remediation, and auditing processes that meet the PCI Data Security Standard.
Ensure standard IT preventative maintenance/management functions are taking place in alignment with enterprise procedures and standards
Provide remote assistance as needed to personnel who are outside of primary work location
Planning and coordination of changes in the context of change management.
Creation and updating of system documentation
Develop, publish and adhere to standards, policies and procedures
Provide on-site and remote support; emergency on-call support as needed
Assist with managing maintenance agreements, and maintain consistent device configurations, accurate device asset inventories, and up-to-date system diagrams and documentation.
Working in a highly team-oriented global team environment, assist the Infrastructure Engineers in developing standard operational processes to support the management of CPI data centers, server & storage environment and global customer voice/data network infrastructures.
Share 7x24 rotational responsibilities for On-Call support.
Follow, support, and promote ongoing improvement of project methodologies, change management, security, and other CPI corporate and Infrastructure team policies.
Participate in and support team-oriented approaches to problem solving, system development, and operations.
Work with the Security and Audit teams regarding ITGCs and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
Four-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
5-8 years of experience required in the following areas
Windows Server 2008R2-2012 R2 support
Microsoft Active Directory
MS Exchange (O365)
Windows infrastructure services such as GPO, DFS, File/Print, DNS, WINS, replication, certificate services, ADFS.
IP Level experience with VLANs and Subnets
PowerShell Scripting/task automation experience
MS Exchange/O365
AWS or Azure Cloud
Nutanix
Industry Standard Enterprise backup/recovery technology
3-5 years’ experience preferred in the areas of Citrix Xen App and supporting an enterprise backup and restore solution
Additional experience (1-2 years) preferred in areas such as:
Amazon AWS Cloud
Citrix Xen App
VMWare ESX Enterprise, vSphere, vCenter
Unix/Linux
MS System Center
SharePoint Online Administration
Experience with configuration of Windows servers in a Datacenter environment is required and configuration of network and SAN in a blade server environment is preferred
Experience managing local infrastructure and user projects is a plus.
Strong experience with MS Windows 7-10 desktop OS as well as MS Office Productivity tools (on premise and O365)
A working understanding of LAN/WAN concepts required,Experience managing/supporting systems remotely and in a highly secure environment
3+ years of experience working within an ITIL based structure (Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, etc.)
Strong documentation skills, and experience with technology asset management processes is required
Experience with supporting remote office environments will be helpful
An established history of delivering great customer service
Experience as a proactive problem solver who can identify and execute both the immediate and long-term tasks needed for resolution
Resourceful in establishing and nurturing key relationships across the IT, Operations, Sales and Corporate teams
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with stringent deadlines
Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
