Overview:

The Production Assembly Team Member is responsible for assembly and production activities within the manufacturing facility. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Assembly Team Member with a strong background in construction and handyman skills coupled with modern manufacturing skills and principles. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the assembly and production of high-quality products. The candidate should be adept at working with various power and hand tools, possess a keen eye for detail, have a solid understanding of construction principles, and the ability to learn and perform operations on a modern assembly line.

Resia Manufacturing is a subsidiary of Resia that will be leasing a plant to produce Pods for use in the multi-family communities.

As part of our team, you’ll collaborate vertically from design & development to the plant floor to design systems that will build POD’s and ship them to the construction site.

Responsibilities:

Assembly and Production:

Perform assembly tasks following established manufacturing procedures.

Help develop and implement basic Lean Manufacturing Principles including Standardized work, Built In Quality (BIQ), Kanban, and Preventive Maintenance Partnership (PMP).

Utilize hand and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently.

Ensure the production process meets industry leading quality standards and aggressive deadlines.

Handyman Skills:

Demonstrate proficiency in various handyman skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Address and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process promptly.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and targets.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders to address any challenges or improvements in the assembly process.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Proven experience in assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Strong construction background with hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Proficient in following work instructions.

Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools.

Attention to detail and precision in assembly work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
