Overview:

The Process Improvement Specialist will support the long-term business and education strategies by leading process improvement projects across all business lines. This role will support Business Operations and the overall company process improvement in measuring and documenting those benefits of process improvements and presenting them to organizational leaders. This individual will advance operational excellence while balancing the educational quality, in addition to educate our employees on the benefits and tools of process improvement.

*FULL ON-SITE POSITION/ NLC ROCKRIDGE LOCATION

*25% TRAVEL REQUIREMENT WITH THIS ROLE

In this position you will have the opportunity to::

Lead process improvement projects using proven methods (Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, etc.)

Manage and prioritize list of process improvement projects need completed as identified by key stakeholders within the organization and approved by senior leadership to pursue due to alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.

Work with Business Operations in supporting other departments to help make their daily operations more effective, efficient, and impacting of corporate strategic initiatives.

Work with leadership and staff to assist in developing a process improvement roadmap.

Maintain system details to establish performance baselines, identify relationships between systems and manage change throughout projects.

Analyze, measure, and document benefits of process improvements using statistical analysis to quantify ROIs.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company business to drive sustainable process improvements between functions, while focusing on continuous improvement cycles for Business Operations and other business functions.

Work with Change and Communications Programs Manager in implementing change management best practices along with all process improvements to drive lasting change.

Required Education & Experience::

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field, or an additional 8 years’ relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading process improvement projects with demonstrated results.

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (if not currently held, must obtain within 45 days of hire).

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (if not currently held, must obtain within 1 year of hire).

Preferred Qualifications/ Attributes::

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Experience working in utility industry.

Salary:

$66,000 - $74,000 annual salary, DOE
