Overview:

The Senior Application Developer will help us deliver technical excellence and outstanding customer service in a team environment. This position will be designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software program applications for our tolling clients throughout the US.

Responsibilities:

Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.

Supports and/or installs software applications.

Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

May report to a team lead or Architect.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree plus at least 6 - 8 years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation of web-based applications.

Experience

Demonstrates hands-on experience in full development life cycle of enterprise scaled software applications utilizing Oracle object oriented analysis, design, and implementation of web based Applications.

Demonstrates expertise in Java/J2EE, JDBC, Web services, EJB 3, JSP, JUnit, Hibernate, Java Servlet, Struts, and Spring.

Data analysis skills to debug, trace and fix performance and production issues.

Process and detailed oriented with the ability to do perform code reviews and mentor junior developers on technical skills.

Desired Knowledge

Knowledge of working in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Services (Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI Publisher, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch).

Knowledge of WebLogic, JUnit, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle technologies.

Other Attributes

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated and able to work from home productively.

Able to work extended hours during critical deliveries.

Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt easily to change
