Managed Logistics Truckload Analyst - Troy, MI

Job Summary:

The Truckload Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing truckload transportation operations related to our contractual customers. Their primary focus is on maximizing efficiency, minimizing costs, and improving overall performance in truckload shipping.

Duties and responsibilities:

Weekly/Monthly reporting for team performanceCalculate Buy to Market

On Time Pickup reporting

On Time Delivery

Data mining on all ML TL Lanes and accountsDefine the accounts/lanes that need improved buy rates

Define the accounts/lanes that need improved service

Prepare information to deliver to Capacity Solutions Manager

Build a lane bid template if necessary

Define pockets of capacity utilizing DAT

Work with Engineering to build Vision dashboards pertaining to TL performance

Build a Carrier Scorecard for the Capacity Manager to utilizeUnderstand their scope and territory of work

Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools

Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, including creating interactive dashboards, data visualization, and conduct complex data analysis to drive informed decision-making (a perk, but not required)

Proficient in truckload, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to optimize route efficiency, minimize costs, enhance carrier performance, and streamline supply chain operations for maximum effectiveness and profitability.
