Burns & McDonnell is looking for a driven individual to join its Financial Reporting team! The accounting organization is at the forefront of changes within the company, whether through acquisitions, new entities (either domestic or international), or new business models. Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for supporting month-end processes and reviewing financial statements for domestic and international locations

Analyze financials and key performance indicators of the Company, divisions and locations to provide meaningful insight to leadership

Support special initiatives within the accounting organization that focus on innovation and process improvement

Prepare month-end reporting for global practices, regional locations and international locations

Prepare journal entries, overhead analysis, reconciliations and A/P corrections

Prepare and assist with deliverables relating to the year-end financial statement audit as well as assisting with statutory filings and annual financial audits for international subsidiaries

Prepare financial packets for contract proposals

Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes

Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Minimum four (4) years applicable experience; extra credit may be given for public accounting experience

One year of additional credit given for CPA or MBA

Superior computer skills with a particular expertise in Excel

Must be a self-motivator, detailed, well organized and have strong issue-resolution skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with Oracle, PowerBi and data models preferred but not required

Percent complete accounting experience preferred but not required
