The Position

Arevon is recruiting for the position of Digital Communications Manager, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.

Job Description

The Digital Communications Manager reports directly to the Director of Communications and works in the Communications Department to manage and optimize Arevon’s digital communications’ strategy and assets.

The Digital Communications Manager’s primary goals are to enhance and support Arevon’s growth in the renewable energy sector by creating and maintaining an array of digital assets and strategies for engaging and educating external stakeholders. Creative thinking and communications skills will be essential in developing Arevon’s narrative, enhancing our organization's brand, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and promoting our company through various campaigns.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain all company collateral (Arevon-related, project and state fact sheets, issue fact sheets, technology fact sheets, letterhead, testimonials, presentations, executive bios, credential decks, case studies, pitch decks, etc.).

Organize and disseminate all company collateral via internal SharePoint.

Ensure current and new collateral, all external-facing communications, and creative assets accurately portray Arevon’s brand.

Assist in the rebuilding of Arevon’s website, positioning Arevon as a leading independent power producer and serving as the company’s digital hub aimed at educating and engaging stakeholders.

Manage Arevon’s website in coordination with web developer, ensuring content is engaging and up-to-date.

Implement and plan SEO strategy for website and social media accounts.

Develop a comprehensive strategy for Arevon’s LinkedIn page; manage editorial calendar and content for Arevon’s social media accounts (LinkedIn and YouTube).

Manage all graphic design-related requests (external and internal campaigns, new and existing collateral, flyers and invitations, posters, Teams backgrounds, etc.).

Oversee and serve as primary contact for photographer/videographer to schedule photo shoots of new projects and identify and coordinate opportunities for new internal and external video content, coordinating closely with Development, Community Relations, and Marketing.

Oversee and serve as primary contact for web developer on retainer and graphic designer.

Design digital communications-oriented corporate presentations in accordance with corporate branding guidelines.

Organize and maintain Arevon’s photo and video library.

Prepare creative assets and written messaging for digital advertising and email marketing campaigns in collaboration with Marketing and manage their implementation.

Research market trends and develop recommendations to enhance Arevon’s digital communications.

Track new initiatives and collaborate with industry groups on social media campaigns.

Initiate digital communications-oriented vendor qualification requests and complete payment process requests.

Additional duties as required.

Requirements

5 years of communications and/or digital marketing experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MailChimp, SEO, social media, and web analytics.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Basic HTML and CSS skills.

Ability to be self-motivated.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Ability to collaborate with colleagues and vendors in various geographic locations.

Planning and organizational skills.

Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated project management and time management skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Communications, Marketing, Computer Sciences, or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
