As an Accounting Project Manager within the automotive industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's financial, operational, and compliance processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry regulations and internal policies. You will be responsible for leading and executing complex audit engagements, conducting risk assessments, and implementing special projects to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution: Lead and conduct comprehensive internal audits of various business functions, departments, and processes within the automotive company to assess risks, internal controls, and compliance with established policies and procedures.

Special Projects Management: Initiate, plan, and oversee special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall organizational performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and drive positive changes.

Risk Assessment: Identify key areas of risk within the organization and develop risk-based audit plans to address potential issues proactively. Work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and foster a culture of risk awareness.

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and advanced audit tools to extract insights, perform trend analysis, and identify anomalies, thereby facilitating more effective and data-driven audit assessments.

Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and recommend improvements to existing controls and processes to prevent fraud and protect company assets.

Audit Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Present results to CFO and assist in the development of action plans to address identified issues.

Process Improvement: Evaluate business processes, internal controls, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency. Develop and implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance overall performance.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, including finance, operations, legal, and human resources, to build strong relationships and ensure a consistent approach to compliance and risk management.

Professional Development: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to internal auditing and automotive industry developments. Maintain relevant certifications and continuously enhance professional skills.

Streamline reconciliations, research balance sheet items, configure systems, etc. Requirements:

Strong knowledge of automotive industry regulations, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks. Bachelors in accounting, Business Administration or Business Management/Analysis.

Ability to create dynamic reports within our computer systems.

Reynolds and Reynolds experience, a plus

Ability to manage deadlines and numerous tasks independently.

Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and communication.

Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be authorized for employment in the USA.

Salary: $70,000 + per year depending on experience
