Mosquito & Pest Authority is the industry leader when it comes to indoor and outdoor pest control, and we are looking for a dynamic Sales Professional to join our team!

We are currently searching for an Outside Sales Inspector with a hunter mentality and desire to control their own financial earnings potential. This position will be based in our Richmond, Virginia office and offers the selected candidate various opportunities for growth and development, full comprehensive training, unlimited earning potential and the most advanced technology and tools for him/her to be successful.

What Will You Do Day-to-Day?

Schedule appointments and/or follow up with pre-arranged appointments and meet with existing and potential customers in their homes to explain Mosquito & Pest Authority's products and services

Conduct a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior areas of potential customers property to diagnose any issues (often includes getting in attics and crawlspaces).

Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall solution for each customer's needs

Documenting descriptions of property and recording accurate measurements of areas inspected

Complete proper paperwork to begin service for the customer utilizing your company provided iPad for thoroughness, speed and accuracy

Estimating job costs and preparing Service Plan recommendations

Make sales presentations to customers based on the findings from inspections and address any questions, explain the treatment process and set the right expectations for the customer

Contacting customers after service is performed to ensure satisfaction and quality of service

Achieve sales performance objectives through assigned leads and new business development

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

6 to 12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required

Must be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy being a problem solver

Must be customer centric, solutions focused and committed to delivering the highest level of customer service

Must be able to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships

You must have strong communications skills both written and oral

You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups

You have a good aptitude for basic math- necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process

You must be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics

Able to work a flexible schedule (including occasional weekend hours when necessary)

Additional Requirements:

Must be a high school graduate/GED. College is preferred, but not required

Must have a valid VA Driver's License

Ability to pass a drug screening

Willingness to undergo a background check

Able to lift and carry up to 60lbs

Able to access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.

Ability to work in all weather conditions
