Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and driving strategic financial initiatives. Leading a team, this role involves managing accounting practices, financial reporting, and budgeting processes. By providing analytical insights and fostering efficient financial operations, the Finance Manager contributes to the overall success and profitability of the business. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, they play a key role in strategic decision-making and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 3-4 individuals, fostering their professional development.

Allocate work, assess performance, and provide feedback to direct reports.

Ensure timely meeting of all internal and external requirements and deadlines, including Cummins and external party obligations.

Manage financial reporting to meet local and US reporting and tax standards.

Oversee VAT, TAX, and local statutory accounting compliance.

Support projects aiming at efficiency improvements, cost savings, and cost reductions.

Lead financial reporting for Capital for the region.

Drive actions for process improvements and automation, enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs).

Skills and Experience:

Proficient in BE GAAP, VAT, TAX, and local statutory accounting.

Extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.

Strong ability to develop talent, direct work, and ensure accountability.

Familiarity with SOx compliance and experience in conducting walkthroughs and evaluating controls.

Skilled in managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring high-quality financial reporting.

Ability to participate in the development of business strategies and provide financial support for new business development.

Experience managing Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and forecasting processes.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

A Certification such as Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar are beneficial.
