What You Will Be Doing:

Collaborate with the Principal Software Engineer and cross-functional teams to address bug fixes and security vulnerabilities and implement shift-left testing strategies for the Ivanti File Director product.

Utilize your FreeBSD, Ruby, Java, Spring Framework, HTML, CSS, and Angular development expertise to contribute to technical solutions and enhance product features.

Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards.

Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation for the File Director product.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to software maintenance, bug fixes, security vulnerabilities, and testing strategies.

Collaborate closely with customer support and quality assurance teams to address customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, HTML, CSS, and Angular development.

Experience with C++ development, FreeBSD, Ruby, is advantageous.

Familiarity with software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.

Demonstrated experience in bug fixing, addressing security vulnerabilities, and implementing shift-left testing strategies.

Knowledge of automated testing methodologies and tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.

Previous experience in maintaining software projects is desirable.
