TMD is now hiring an Accounting Manager-Direct Hire in the NW Houston (290 & 610) area!

The Accounting Manager oversees subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs in the department. This is a true first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Requires extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

Job responsibilities:

Manages multiple accounting functions and operations such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, asset, cost, and tax accounting.

Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards.

Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting.

Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations.

Develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or directly related field, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

1-3+ years managerial experience

3+ years experience of Accounting in Healthcare industry (5+ years preferred)

Balance Sheet Analysis

Business Acumen

Solid comprehension of GAAP Standards

Regulatory Compliance

Accounting Software

PAY RATE: $95-105K depending on experience.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
