Summary of Position:
This position provides supervisory, management and administrative support for the operations of the Municipal Court. Some major duties include:
Prepares cases for court sessions, arraignment sessions, prisoner sessions and trial sessions; enters pleas and judgments.
Enters convictions in an accurate and timely manner; transfers files information to the Drivers License Division and the Police Department; prepares bench warrants, judgments, jail orders, conditions documents, not-guilty papers, court appointed applications, and plea agreements.
Balances receipts and prepares deposits; maintains related records.
Prepares annual budget requests and manages assigned funds.
Trains, assigns, schedules, directs, supervises, evaluates and disciplines personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education.
Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years’ experience or service.
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of customer service experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
