As our HR Coordinator, you’ll play a role in connecting with talented individuals to foster an inclusive work environment that celebrates diversity and collaboration. You’ll be instrumental in bringing our culture and values to the forefront, bridging the gap between employees, managers, and everyone in between.
We’re looking for someone who can anticipate problems, recognize opportunities, and thoughtfully move in action to aid in various aspects of HR, including (but not limited to) talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and more.
Success in this role requires clear communication skills, the willingness to do both the necessary HR administrative tasks as well as strategic HR initiatives to reach our goals.
Responsibilities:
Managing and executing on StudioNorth staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding
Ensuring StudioNorth compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Plan trainings and performance management initiatives to help ensure employee growth
Partner with others to create team-building events and activities to foster connection among team members
Investigate employee issues and conflicts, bringing them to resolution
Manage internal HRIS system, ensuring StudioNorth is optimizing the platform and that all information is up to date
Support current and future StudioNorth needs through development, engagement, and motivation of employees
Manage current benefits offerings, and evaluate and enhance overall benefits optimization
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Requirements:
1-3 years of hands-on HR experience in agency setting
Knowledge of HR systems and databases (we currently utilize BambooHR)
Excitement around HR best practices
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field, SPHR certification preferred but not required
High EQ and the ability to read what a team needs to help motivate them
