Your role

Do you want to proactively engage in a fast-paced and global environment by continuously improving the stress testing? Would you like to be part of the stress testing team across different locations and functions ensuring that senior management takes the right decisions? Yes? Great, we are looking for you as a Stress Testing Expert to:

• support the execution of stress testing exercises incl. supervisory stress testing, ICAAP and recovery planning as well as change initiatives and ad-hoc requests

• proactively engage and coordinate with functions like Treasury, Finance and Risk Control across different locations to maintain and develop the stress testing for UBS Europe SE

• identify optimization potentials regarding capital depletion in stress tests (e.g. ECB stress test and ICAAP) also in a UBS group context

• ensure a proper governance around all stress test related topics. Challenge the status quo and monitor stress testing processes

• engage with model development by challenging and improving models used for stress testing

• produce analytical reports (e.g. in Tableau) on stress testing and related topics for senior management and the regulator. Actively search for possibilities to automate processes (e.g. via Alteryx, VBA, Python, R or RPA) by engaging with the Finance automation group and the IT functions

Your team

You’ll be working within the Regulatory Reporting team based in Frankfurt. Our team covers Pillar I, Pillar II and Pillar III related topics.

Your expertise

• relevant experience regarding ICAAP, supervisory stress testing or capital planning as well as strong knowledge of respective regulatory requirements (ICAAP guidelines, CRR II, EBA guidelines). Knowledge of Pillar I/ CRR RWA calculations or model development would be beneficial.

• degree in a finance-related area such as Finance, Economics, Math/ Statistics or other quantitative studies

• strong team player with excellent partnering, presentation and communication skills paired with excellent verbal and written English language skills (German considered an asset)

• ability to build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and to work as a collaborative and proactive member of a team

• strong analytical skills to provide independent assessments in a fast-paced and global environment as well as strong MS-Office skills and digital attitude

• a diligent way of working and consistently striving for optimization/innovation of process and working practices

• accountable with integrity for own work by producing reliable, high-quality outputs to an agreed timeline
