Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Corporate Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity for significant autonomy over files, allowing you to take ownership of your work while receiving support and mentorship from experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements
Conducting legal research and analysis
Providing strategic advice and counsel to clients on corporate matters
Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and other business ventures
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies
Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings
Qualifications:
Admission to the Virginia State Bar (or eligibility for admission)
2-5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities, or corporate governance
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
