LOCATION:
The position will report to work in either our California (Irvine) or Minnesota (Eden Prairie) office and have the option to enjoy a remote or hybrid work arrangement after completing the training program.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):
As our Sales Support Specialist, you will support the sales engineering team during the entire sales process. The Sales Support Specialist will aid the team with customer opportunities, creating job folders, creating or revising quotes, follow up on leads from new and existing customers, enter data into CRM (Salesforce) and any other sales administration tasks deemed necessary.
Learn and apply applicable ISO, ISTA, ICH, USP and ASTM standards for DDL testing services.
Demonstrate proficiency in executing various DDL testing capabilities per the standards.
Demonstrate proficiency in DDL project management, customer service and communication.
Work with sales engineers to support customer project opportunities, including project job folder creation, quote generation, and quote revisions with minimal oversight.
Build relationships with customers to qualify opportunities and promote repeat business.
Generate new business leads by prospecting new accounts through appropriate industry databases, cold calling and other resources such as LinkedIn.
Effectively utilize the Client Relation Management system (CRM) Salesforce and make data entries per sales engineers.
Assist with sales prospecting and other research as needed.
Back up for the Sales Engineers when Out of Office.
Facilitate client NDA / CDA via DDL legal review process.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or similar Engineering background
Previous DDL testing house internship experience (nice to have, but not required)
Medical Device Manufacturing (MDM) Project Manager or Sales experience
Computer skills (Microsoft Office fluency)
Salesforce or other CRM
