Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participates in the recruitment, selection and training of staff.

2. Supervise and schedule food and beverage staff.

3. Ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Resolve customer complaints, as well as internal conflict amongst staff in a professional manner.

5. Order and maintain inventory control costs.

6. Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.

7. Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.

8. Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

9. Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

10. Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.

11. Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.

12. Prepares memos and provide written direction to team/staff members.

13. Follows established departmental policies and procedures.

14. Attends periodic and regular trainings and meetings.

15. Follow established company and departmental standards for personal appearance and behavior.

16. Oversees department and improves staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling and recommending disciplinary action for employees.

17. Directs assignments, assist with work schedules, and approves time.

18. Maintains a hospitable and team atmosphere with fellow staff.

19. Communicates on a regular basis with the Food and Beverage Manager.

20. Ensures optimum staffing levels by coordinating schedules to meet business needs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or hospitality is advantage.

2. Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

4. Ability to stand for extended periods.

5. Strong management skills.

6. Excellent organizational skills.

7. Effective communication skills.

8. Exceptional customer service skills.

9. Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple workloads.

10. Proven experience in customer service and stock managemen
