A. Product Costing
o Assists the Cost Accountant in the preparation of product costing including the consolidation and review of material costs, process-related costs, overhead costs, labor costs, margins and others.
o Assists the Cost Accountant in conducting product/process design review and determines effects on product cost.
o Records and monitors cost information for controlling expenditures.
o Assists the Cost Accountant in the preparation of necessary reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products which are submitted to the Top Management on a regular basis.
o Updates the Cost Accounting System.
B. Inventory and Asset Management
o Performs actual inventory and fixed asset count on a regular basis together with the Inventory Team of the Company.
o Consolidates and prepares inventory reports on a regular basis.
o Checks and analyzes discrepancies/variances and coordinates with concerned departments.
C. Financial/Budget Forecasting, Allocation, Monitoring and Control & Analysis
o Summarizes and updates cost and expense monitoring.
o Assists the Cost Accountant in the analysis and review of budget allocation and utilization.
o Supports the Accounting Manager in analyzing financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
D. Petty Cash Management
o Checks and forwards CRLF and attachments to Cost Accountant for review and approval.
o Updates Petty Cash Management Monitoring on a daily basis.
o Files petty cash management related documents for future reference and safekeeping.
o Checks and forwards liquidation requests to Cost Accountant/Manager for review and approval.
o Encodes all expenses and transactions in the Petty Cash Module and detaches receipts for expense reporting.
o Checks and forwards reimbursement requests to Cost Accountant/Manager for review and approval.
JOB QUALAIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related accounting course
· A Certified Public Accountant (preferably)
· At least three (3) years related work exposure/experience in Cost Accounting Operations preferably from a Manufacturing industry
