As a Sr. Associate, Employee Relations, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between employees and the workplace. This includes being responsible for understanding employee issues, promoting a healthy work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. In collaboration with HR, Legal, and Labor Relations partners, you will drive change and champion fair, consistent, timely, and thorough investigations, promoting the highest level of respect while delivering on investigation protocols with accurate documentation. You will navigate sensitive concerns and accommodation requests by providing insightful recommendations and advocating for a positive employee experience through the lens of equitable and consistent policies. Through proactive coaching, education, and onsite presence, you will help prevent issues and nurture a culture where employees can perform at their best.

You will:

Address employee concerns and complaints in a timely and confidential manner;

Conduct investigations into employee grievances, conflicts, and possible disciplinary issues;

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices;

Assist in the development and implementation of employee relations programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention;

Engage in the interactive process to determine eligibility of employee accommodations through review of documentation, consultation with department managers, employees, Legal, and other stakeholders to determine whether requests fall under our accommodations policies and how we consistently enable employees to perform the essential functions of their jobs;

Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks;

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee relations matters under the direction of Legal Counsel;

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.

You have:

Bachelors of Nursing, Paralegal Degree or Certification, or 2+ years of relevant healthcare and/or legal experience;

Understanding of employment law implications on ADA and/or HR compliance issues;

Experience with synthesizing healthcare-related laws into digestible information suing the highest levels of integrity and discretion;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Experience handling multiple and complex projects simultaneously, and working in an environment that requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, and organization;

Track record of strong collaboration skills, and highly trusted.
