Earthworks Estimator

GPAC is looking for an Estimator with experience in underground utilities and site work projects.

Job Description Estimator:

We are looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background (5+ years) in underground utilities and site work to join a team in Danvers, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accurately estimating project costs, preparing comprehensive bids, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities of Estimator:

- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for underground utilities and site work projects

- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather competitive pricing

- Prepare comprehensive and detailed bid proposals

- Work closely with project managers and engineers to refine estimates based on project requirements

- Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to provide accurate and competitive estimates

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for underground utilities and site work projects

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices

- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
