Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician at the Madison, GA facility.

1st shift = Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the following:

The Team Leader is responsible for assisting department supervisors with training, motivating and managing production personnel and daily reporting for production and inventories. In addition, the team leader will support goals in Safety, Quality, & Customer Service. The team leader will act as a backup for other team leaders and the department supervisors as well.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of daily production requirements.

Prepares paperwork and reports as needed.

Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions and employee issues.

Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations to ensure that safety rules and procedures are strictly followed.

Provides training, technical expertise and coaching for department employees as needed.

Reviews material and production requirements needed to meet daily production requirements.

Provides hands-on assistance and works in a production capacity as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work overtime as needed.

Exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills

1 to 2 years supervision or team leader experience.

Possess in-depth knowledge of production procedures and know how to use tools and operate machinery.

Physical Dexterity

Strong leadership skills. Expected to be able to direct, correct and motivate the members of their team to achieve efficiency.

Must be a quick learner and excellent coach to train their teammates.

Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively handle the challenges and problems in the shop.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to delegate tasks to other team members.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Ability to operate a forklift.

Ability to read and comprehend part drawings.

Purchase needed MRO, Machine parts, tooling and tool cage items.

Conduct Daily huddle board meetings.

Work with outside machine manufacturers and vendors to solve issues.

Use department resources to troubleshoot and repair all equipment.

Provide Building infrastructure support (interior & exterior).

Schedule maintenance personnels daily tasks through IMaint and ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.

Assist in installation of new equipment and removal of old equipment.

Assist with implementation of new machine preventative maintenance procedures and scheduling in CMMS.

Assist with Implementation of new machine and existing machine LOTO procedures.
