Job Title : Gate Attendant

Location : Lewisville, TX

Job Type : Full-time

Responsibilities :

Comply with the Fort Worth District Camping and Reservation Policy Manual and the Lake Gate Attendant Handbook

Keep records and ensure compliance of group shelter use as required by the Lake Manager including the use of the NRRS system, where applicable.

Record the campsite occupied and maintain record of the current status for each campsite occupied.

Inspect the park area and facilities a minimum number of times each day as required by each Lake Appendix.

Promptly report all accidents, violations of law, disturbances and situations that could affect health and safety of visitors to the Park Ranger or Lake Manager.

Keep a written record of all complaints and criticisms of park facilities.

Keep lost and found articles in the gatehouse or trailer and turn over all found articles with as much information as possible to a Park Ranger in accordance to each lake policy.

Qualifications:

Required a fully operable “self-contained” recreational vehicle (RV) of the travel trailer or motor home type to serve as temporary living quarters.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or customer service is a plus.

Proven experience as a Gate Attendant, security guard, or in a customer-facing role.

Ability to operate gate control systems, intercoms, and communication devices effectively.

Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties in various weather conditions, and have basic knowledge of safety and emergency protocols.
