FUNCTION

The Count Team Supervisor, along with or in the absence of the Count Room Manager, is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the drop process and count room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for efficient overall operation of the drop and count room and staff.

Responsible for maintaining a coordinated drop and count process.

Assure that count room procedures are followed in compliance with gaming regulations.

Completion of financial reports, paperwork and security of information within.

Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.

Delegate duties and assign responsibilities.

Ensure staff is adequately trained to perform all required count team responsibilities including: counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording of all funds.

Effectively operate computers and machines used in the processing of all funds.

Effectively maintain a clean and organized count room.

Effectively and accurately maintain the count room data.

Responsible for maintaining and updating policies / procedures pertaining to the count and drop count process.

Responsible to put together strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the count team duties.

Responsible for placing count team supply orders to the Count Room Manager.

Review count room activities with the Count Room manager.

Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Management abilities demonstrated in effectively managing the count room.

Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.

Adherence to Code of Conduct and all Calder Casino policies and procedures.

Maintain and promote our business strategy.

Maintain an open door policy for Team Members to allow open communication

Oral and written communication skills.

Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the count room.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years' experience in casino finance or banking

Minimum of 1 year supervising, leading, or managing a casino count room

One year experience with a currency counting machine.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
