Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking to hire Warehouse Specialists to facilitate accurate inventory of Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. This position falls under the DOL’s Service Contract Act (SCA).

Specific Duties:

Assisting the Team Lead/Manager in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.

Providing technical knowledge where applicable.

Facilitating accurate inventory of all CBR assets counted daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS).

Performing quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, by way of visual, technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment.

Utilizing established processes, procedures and technical guidance to perform job duties while complying to all safety, conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.

Required Education/Qualifications:

Must hold an Active Secret Security Clearance and maintain that clearance with 6-month re-verification.

Ability to work standing for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Ability to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

High School diploma or GED

US Citizenship required.

Preferred Education/Qualifications:

Experience with appropriate Navy CBR equipment.
