Description:

We're looking for caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as PCAs/CNAs. In this role, you'll provide essential care and support to an 88-year-old female who requires 24/7 bed care at home, helping to improve her quality of life and maintaining her independence. The client is located in the 22580 area of Caroline.

Responsibilities:

Perform bed baths with sensitivity and respect

Assist with dressing and personal grooming

Provide incontinence care with compassion and discretion

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary

Medication reminders to ensure adherence to treatment plans

Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment

Change linens regularly to promote hygiene and comfort

Minimum care for the clients elderly dog

Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interactions with the individual.

Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aid (PCA)

Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Comfortable with pets and a smoking environment

Compassionate and empathetic demeanor toward clients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Must have a clean criminal background check and drug screening

Requirements:

PCA/CNA certificate

Virginia driver's license ( in good standing)

Current Auto Insurance (Virginias minimum requirement)

Two forms of identification

CPR or BLS certification and First Aid training

TB test results

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Interviews will be scheduled for qualified candidates every Tuesday and Thursday, 11 am - 4 pm.

The selected candidate is expected to start work on June 19, 2024.
