Job Description
Rinker Design Associates is seeking a Utility Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing utility relocation coordination associated with transportation improvement projects. The Utility Coordinator will assist in all aspects of utility relocation coordination, including utility conflict evaluation, existing utility information reviews, compensable rights determinations, utility owner coordination, and utility plan reviews. This position has excellent potential for career advancement.
Position Requirements
1+ years of related utility or roadway design/construction experience
Ability to read and interpret government specifications, policies, and laws.
Ability to read civil roadway plans accurately.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment required
Effective communication skills required
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
Ability to take initiative, work independently or under executive direction
CAD (Microstation and/or Autocad) experience required.
HS diploma, Associates Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
