Orthopedic Physician Assistant in Fergus Falls, MN

Seeking a Physician Assistant to join an established orthopedics practice with 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons, and three orthopedic APP s. This position would work in the outpatient, inpatient, and surgical departments to help support orthopedic and sports medicine patients.

• Full-time position in Fergus Falls, MN setting working in the clinic and assisting with surgical cases; 32 patient contact hours/week requirement for a 1.0 FTE taking call.

• General orthopedics practice; providers work with infant to geriatric. All surgical procedures performed except spinal surgeries, which are done by our neurosurgeon.

• Rotating call time between providers; 1 in 6 rotation (Typically 7 consecutive days of call) and dual coverage initially for new provider

EDUCATION & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• License to practice medicine & DEA in Minnesota upon start

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

• Successful completion of PANCE board examination for Physician Assistant candidates or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

• BLS required

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Base compensation salary is guaranteed starting at $112,000/year for the first 2 years of employment, plus the opportunity to earn additional income based on production volumes.
