Inventory Supply Specialist II

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs shipping and receiving duties in production/warehouse/stockroom environment * Receives incoming materials, performs stock put-away * Applies appropriate labels/tags/markings to incoming materials * Coordinates with production for restocking of any unused material * Coordinates with internal customers to arrange shipments with carriers * Prepares shipments to include wrapping, boxing, crating, strapping and palletization in accordance with commercial packing methods and DoD regulations, including Hazmat items * Assist in the tagging, tracking and storage of Government and SRC property * Manages warehouse storage areas to maximize space utilization * Operates company vehicle to make deliveries and pickups * Supports Division Government Property Coordinator in periodic audits, inventory, and record updates MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: * Have a clean valid driver's license * Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds without assistance * Currently possess or ability to obtain a Secret clearance * Ability to operate gas and electric forklifts and hand trucks/pallet jacks DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: * Familiarity in operating mobile barcode/IUID readers * Three years of inventory/supply experience relevant to a DoD Contractor environment * Knowledge of FAR part 52.245-1 and 45, DFARS part 245 and other contract clauses impacting government property * Strong computer skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) * Use of ERP/MRP systems, and cloud based Inventory/Property Management Systems * CPPS or higher NPMA Certification SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S.
