Forklift Operator

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Stand-up reach Forklift Operator. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move materials within the warehouse

- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products

- Transport materials to designated areas using a stand-up forklift

- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs

- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role

- Valid forklift certification/license is a plus but not required

- Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
