Job Purpose

To prioritize and guide projects across the Trauma Healing team from beginning to end to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, according to best practices.

Work closely with the Sr Director of Trauma Healing and the full Trauma Healing team to execute projects that contribute to the implementation of ministry strategy. Execution elements include: developing and refining processes within team to build clarity and efficiencies, documenting and tracking project specs, budget, requirements, roles and responsibilities, and timelines, identifying project gaps and quickly facilitating a solution, and maintaining consistent communications with team members and leadership to ensure a positive project cycle experience.

Serve as primary liaison with key vendors executing and implementing components of TH ministry strategy, especially in the area of THI brand communications and customer engagement in consultation with Sr Director.

Participate in ABS’s office of project management as a Trauma Healing team stakeholder, ensuring alignment with organizational best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Drive Project Management life cycle for Trauma Healing’s execution of its strategic growth plan and management of ongoing ministry programs, contributing to growth of TH impact.

Work with Director to use PM platforms/tools to ensure high-quality scope, prioritization, and accountability management. Ensure clarity of project responsibilities for effective collaboration across team functions.

Mobilize key department and ABS stakeholders to discuss projects, confirm feasibility of objectives and timelines, and establish clear remits. Manage these agreed upon deliverables and oversee the project process from leadership approval through post-evaluation.

Communicate regularly with stakeholders, especially Sr Director, to provide project updates, answer questions and foster strong relationships, while maintaining documentation of communication. Promote excel lence in customer service and positive team synergy.

Develop and maintain program, project and team KPI dashboards to ensure timely, data-driven decision making for mission strategy, and meaningful reporting to stakeholders.

Manage special projects that contribute to ministry strategy as assigned by Sr Director. Supervisory Responsibilities

Although there are no direct reports immediately, the incumbent will work with functional team leads, developers, and vendors to ensure resources are properly allocated for any given project.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Passion for the Bible cause and its ability to impact lives

Fervent belief in the mission of the American Bible Society

5+ years of professional project management experience

PMP or other relevant project management certification, preferred but relevant experience considered

Extensive knowledge and experience of Monday.com or other PM software (Trello, Jira, Basecamp, Miro, Asana, ClickUp).

Understanding of today’s technology trends, specifically with system automation and AI

Experience with Microsoft 360 and Teams strongly preferred

Collegial working style, interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact appropriately and effectively with all levels of staff

Superior written and oral communication skills

Detail-oriented with appropriate organization and prioritizations of day-to-day and long-term tasks

Experience with Christian organizations/ministries, preferred

Ability to work effectively with both co-located and distributed teams

Highly self-motivated, initiative-taker, excellent self-manager

Cross-cultural experience preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

Undergraduate Degree: Graduate Degree:

Experience in Relevant Field: At least 5 years overseeing projects to completion

WORK STRUCTURE:

Office Location: Philadelphia, PA, Hybrid

Travel: Limited

Hours: Standard office i.e. 8:30-5, etc. May require evenings and weekends
